Our Story
As it turns out, moving to Philadelphia was a pretty good decision.
Our story began on a cold, snowy day in January 2024, when we both worked up the courage to meet a complete stranger. Unbeknownst to us, we were each meeting our person.At the time, Quinn was considering a move to Philadelphia and had rented a short-term apartment while he explored the city. On his very first day, we met for guacamole and virgin margaritas — and by the end of the date, we knew just about everything there was to know about each other. Not long after, Quinn signed a lease in Philadelphia, and our lives quickly became intertwined.We bonded over our love for family, Philadelphia sports, and the Jersey Shore, and from nearly the beginning, it was easy to picture a future together. An early trip to Hunter Mountain, New York, only made that more certain. Somewhere along the way, we both realized we weren't getting rid of the other person.Two years later, in January 2026, we traveled to Colorado to visit Quinn's sister and Taylor's grandmother. At the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, Quinn asked Taylor to marry him — and she said yes.Today, we call Fishtown home with our three-legged chocolate lab, Tito. Now, we're looking forward to a June wedding evening on Philadelphia's Main Line and celebrating with all of our favorite people at Pomme — a place that makes the day even more special.Taylor's parents were married there more than 30 years ago, and just around the corner is the neighborhood where Quinn's father grew up and his grandmother called home.We couldn't imagine a more meaningful place to begin our next chapter.
